When do doors open?

What’s the parking at the venue like?
More than 2,200 convenient parking spaces are available within a walking distance of the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. In addition, all surrounding parking lots offer spaces for individuals with accessible needs.Parking lots normally open three hours prior to the start of the event and will remain staffed until all guest traffic has exited the facility. No overnight parking or in-and-out privileges are permitted.
Parking is $7 per car (cash only) at the Performing Arts Center.
What items may I bring with me into the venue?
All of the following objects are strictly prohibited : Bags, backpacks, luggage, coolers, parcels, briefcases. All guests are subject to be searched, at the venue’s discretion, of their person and/or possessions (including women’s handbags of normal size which may be allowed entry after such search). Guests with prohibited articles will be turned away at the entrances to return items to their vehicle or to dispose of them. No storage or “check-in area” will be provided.
Are cameras/recording devices permitted?
As a general rule, video Cameras, audio recording devices, and cameras with 90mm lenses, detachable lenses, and large telephoto lenses are prohibited in the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center.
Is smoking permitted?
Guests are not allowed to smoke at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, there is an outside smoking area located to the left of the front lobby.
Can I bring food and beverages into an event?
Guests are not permitted to bring food or beverages into the Performing Arts Center.
At what age does a child require a ticket?
All individuals two-years-old or older must possess a valid ticket for entry into the Performing Arts Center. Children under two-years-old are admitted free of charge as long as they sit on a lap.
Does the North Charleston Performing Arts Center have a lost & found?
If you lose an item while the event is still taking place, please report the incident to the venue Guest Services Booth. In the Performing Arts Center, please contact an usher for assistance. After the event, please contact the administrative offices during regular business hours at 843-529-5050.
Are these tickets real?
The only tickets guaranteed to be valid are ones sold either by one of the venue ticket offices or by our official ticket provider, Ticketmaster. Unfortunately, there are instances where someone may come into possession of fraudulent tickets. Keep in mind that in many cases, the Ticket Office cannot verify if a ticket is valid until it is scanned on the night of the show.
Will events be cancelled due to rain or other inclement weather?
All shows at The Performing Arts Center are ‘Rain or Shine’ events. Only in extreme inclement weather are shows canceled or postponed. Rain and snow are not considered inclement weather. If guests have questions about an event being canceled due to weather, please call 843-529-5050.
